        Day 1:

You arrive in Puerto Carreño where you will be met by your guide or one of the staff from Pedrogoza Ecolodge and we will depart immediately for the lodge (Approximately 1 hour drive). We arrive at the lodge and you can check into your room and grab a sandwich and beverage at the restaurant / lounge. Breakfast will be served at 0500 and by 0600 we should have hit the water and be on our way to our first fishing hole. Around 1100 am we will return to the lodge for a hot lunch and shower and we can hit the water again at 1400. We will have to be off the water before nightfall which would be around 1800. Dinner will be served at 1900 and then you can relax in the restaurant / lounge with a beverage and conversation about the day's events with your guide and/or stories from the lodge staff. You can also elect to sit outside around the fire pit and tell stories over a cold beer. Take it easy though, jet lag, heat and breakfast at 0500 so you will need your rest.

Note: At this time we can elect to have a lunch packed and stored into coolers for lunch the next day allowing more time on the water for fishing. At any time we can beach the boats for a small fire and to relieve ourselves; fishing is catch and release but we can still keep a couple for a delicious and fresh lunch Llano's still over a open fire on the beach.

        Day 2 and 3:

On the water by at least 0600 am and back to our favorite spots or venture to other areas and try our luck, fishing in different zones. Your guide will have a very good knowledge of the area but it's your trip and if you have a hunch, let's give it a shot. If we elected to bring lunch we can continue fishing or beach for a spell and boil some fresh coffee and cook some fish. If we didn't bring lunch it's back to the lodge and eat then back on the water by 1400. In the evening, we enjoy another wonderful meal and then we will have time to rest, take a shower, have dinner and enjoy nature and fun and interesting conversation. I am sure you will have lots to talk about, especially if we get a glimpse of a Jaguar or Tapir. Oh Yeah, make sure you bring your camera!

        Last Day:

We will depart after breakfast to Puerto Carreño and if we have time walk around the town and maybe have a beer and lunch. We must be at the airport and check in at least (2) two hours before the flight back to Bogota. Remember to pack your camouflage and wear light weight casual clothing with a light jacket for Bogota weather which will be cool compared to Puerto Carreno. You will have an opportunity to purchase some souvenirs at the airport including some local goods including: honey, honey candy, cashew nuts, fruit and flower wines, T Shirts and pictures and a variety of very beautiful handcrafts (These handicrafts are painstakingly designed and made by the indeginous peoples of Vichada, Colombia and we are very serious about our committment to there well-being!)made by the indigenous people of the Vichada region.
